Mission Statement

The following is an excerpt from our Statement of Purpose:

The Church shall be organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational and religious purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or any superseding section in order to, at its discretion:

  • To conduct and maintain a house of worship in order to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, His teachings and principles; and to provide community outreach services/programs.
  • To be a beacon of light and hope for the lost sinner by constraining men, by our daily lives, to become followers of Christ and walk in His footsteps.
  • To perform and enforce the ordinances of Jesus Christ, as practiced by the Apostles of the early church such as, but not limited to, marriage ceremonies, christenings, funerals, baptisms, administering of the Lord’s Supper, washing of feet, dedications and any other liturgy performed or identified in the Holy Bible.
  • To affect a greater spiritual unity among Christians.  To foster the spread of religious teachings.  To support and encourage other Christian ministries, associations, foundations, organization and individuals through prayer, teaching and other charitable support deemed necessary.
  • To combat all forms of community deterioration, and juvenile delinquency by promoting and encouraging self-help, self-pride, and employment.
  • To establish a community outreach (without regard to race, creed, color or economic standing) to those who are so engulfed with spiritual deadness that they cannot or do not seek help on their own.  To instill the feeling of good fellowship and good citizenship and to disseminate the moral and spiritual advantages of divine worship.  To provide spiritual counseling including, but not limited to, family life, child rearing, budget counseling and any other spiritual counseling support deemed necessary to accomplish said goals.  To provide spiritual and economic relief to the poor, distressed and underprivileged.
  • To defend human and civil rights secured by law.  To help eliminate prejudice and discrimination in the United States and elsewhere throughout the world.
