1 John 3:4
We are all sinners (Romans 3:20-23) and when we accept Jesus Christ,
we simply become sinners saved by GRACE.
Repentance is turning away from sin. It starts in the heart and mind and
becomes evident in our actions.

SALVATION is a gift and it cannot be taken away. Once a child of
God, always a child of God.
Romans 8:14-16, 28-30, 2 Thes 2:13-14
We have been saved by GRACE.
Ephesians 2:8-9
GRACE is the undeserved, unearned, and unmerited gift from God through
faith in Christ Jesus. We cannot work for it, pay for it or earn it.
For example, the ability to breath, laugh, walk and talk are all a result
of the GRACE of GOD; free and undeserved. The GRACE of salvation
(or “Saving Grace”) came in the form of Jesus Christ. The cost of our
salvation was PAID IN FULL by Jesus Christ (1 John 2:2) and that is why it is free
for us. We MUST accept this gift and we do that by the use of our FAITH.
FAITH is believing without knowing or seeing; it is the evidence of things we can
not seen (Hebrews 11:1). We "know" that fire is hot and can burn and we "know"
that food will spoil if left out too long. But FAITH is not "knowing". To "know" is to
be certain based on fact; to have FAITH is to BELIEVE based on God's word. It is
with this FAITH that we believe the Bible is the true word of God.
We who are CHRISTIANS (which is the same as being called Saved, Born
Again Believers, Redeemed, Sanctified, Justified, Saints, etc.) confess and
accept, by faith, Jesus’ sacrifice as full payment for ALL our sins…past,
present, future (Romans 10:9-10). Our confession includes Jesus’ virgin birth,
His life and miracles, His arrest and crucifixion (death on the cross), His ascension
back to God, and His eventual return to take us back to Heaven.
One final note: Christians are NOT perfect (Romans 3:23, Isa 64:6). In fact
the term “saved” is often misunderstood (even by Christians). It is short for
“sinner SAVED by grace”. We are not better than anyone else…we are
however going to Heaven!
…Have YOU accepted Jesus as YOUR Lord and Savior? If not, why not???
